Really like this mix of voices together -this band is coooldub style The vocals to this song have an original sound that catches you from the
beginning . The backgrounds are definitely cool and augment the lead well. I really like
the drummer alot. This whole thing sounds kind of like Maxi Priest but not as pop. It has a more "roots" feel to it. VERY WELL DONE.Very nice vocal hits you right off, then you realize you're hearing a great lyric in a great
tune. Nice job. Nice groove This is the kind of reggae we all know and love. Good
vocal melody with very simple, chill accompaniment. BB King goes reggae The guitar
work on this is tastfull and in the pocket. The player seems to have learned from the BB
King school of playing. Great job. The vocals are very well done-I especially enjoyed
the chorus vocals. Nice melody and harmony on this numberIt's refreshing to hear a true reggae song. Peter Tosh would be proud. All the music is
solid, especially the guitar. There is always love and I think you can't have a real reggae
song without mentioning love. Cool effect in the intro. The guitar rhythm is steady and the vocal has strength. Nice
vocal harmonies, but I feel like the male background is better mixed, the female voices
don't fit as well. This song has all the pieces, and I really like the low tone on the lead
vocal. A great message and a good song. This is some groovy music,.Cool intro,. I like how it started,. Great sound,. I dig the
raw sound, its very very clean,. Really vocals, I really dig this groove,. You guys have it
going on, thanks for sharing this piece. Feel good musicThis song is cool because it tells a story. The lead vocalist sings clearly and loudly, and
the back-up vocalists come in at the appropriate time. I feel that the band could do
more interesting things if they had the opportunity, but they still gave me something I
can surely groove to. This song and it makes me feel happy, like reggae should.hard to improve on thisSo many good elements going on here, it's going to be hard to comment on them all. The minimalist feel of the intro and first verse is great. The listener gets a chance to
hear and identify a small group of instruments, then is gradually introduced to the
other layers of the song. The reverb on the guitar chord is delicious! What a great reggae singing voice! Clear, and great job of enunciating the lyrics to set
them off from the rhythm in the drums. The harmony vocals are perfect. The song itself has a good, engaging, authentic feel to it. Makes me want to smoke one
more and dance around a bonfire.Radio friendly! Great understated ensemble band performance with female backing
complimenting the low slung lead vocal. Would sit well in an open air summer festival. The atmosphere and positive message of
the song ring out and has "radio friendly" stamped all over it. The dubby intro was spot on. Good yearning phrases in the opening verse too. All in all
a song that has obviously benefitted from being crafted and finely honed. I liked this
one! it is a very good vibe.kinda reminds me of some good old classic culture
music....excellent job on originality Groovin' Positive Vibe Nice piece of reggae. The
bass is deep and pleasant. I enjoyed the good vibes and positive words that the singers
used. I like it. Great production and mix. Background vocals sound a lot like Marley's.
Lead singer is original and loose. Tight drums...this needs to be loud with all the
goodies surrounding. I'm adding this to my play list. Nice job. Unlike many other tracks
on this site, I'm allowing this to play again.Great background vocal harmonies in this tune that don't just wait until the chorus kicks
in to do add their brilliance. The background vocals keep this song moving. The guitars
in this song have some nice lead licks and chicken scratching rhythms.nice slower reggae song i love backing vocals and the guitar sounds great. nice.Great message Reggae the tool to spread the unified, feeling of Love, Peace, and Unity. Jah Bless this music. Good message, good music. Good vocals. Jah GuideNice vocal package The exchange between the male and female vocals are really
nice, the story line to the song is touching...One thing I've always enjoyed about Raggae
music is that alot of the lyrics always revolve around more positive than negative which
is refreshing Dub This track is really well produced and everthing sits nice in the mix.
Dig the guitar dub effects and sounds and backing vocals. Would myself have a more
prominent bass line that has more emphasis in the mid frequency, but the overall tune
is nice and chilled Regge Ficking Good I like the beat to this cool number. It is a good
tune to do the chores to. It is rich in expressive tapestry. I particularly like the backing
vocals, the girls are so so in tune and complement the main vocals very well.Nice vocals here, but could be mixed a bit better. The vocals are a little too much in
the foreground and a bit too raw. That said, there's a nice beat and solid vocal
performance. Good ideas in this song. The raspy lead singer's voice is usually very
good, with the occasional shaky or flat note, but that's okay. Good beat and mood, but
I'd like to hear a bit more from the band.hell yeah Ah hell yeah! I love this. This is awesome- the whole package is great! The
recording, the performance, the production, the singing, the playing, the writing. Hell
yeah!!! I love this stuff. I can't rip on this at all- praise only today. I am an opinionated,
irritating SOB. Do you know how hard it is to impress me?? You have done it!
Congratulations. That in itself is my review, I have nothing more to say.Voice and Soul The intro reminds me of Bob Marley Exodus, but from there on its all
yours! What a great voice the lead vocalist has got: sounds like a mixture of Taj Mahal,
Freddie Mcgreggor and Peter Tosh, and this mixture gives him his very own tone.I like
the melody, the drum and bass, the guitars and the choir although its a little bit shaky. Simply a great tune! Good Vibes Like the feel of this track. Band is nice inna one drop
style! Like the bass & drums! Good lickn guitar. Interesting lead vocal, like the texture
of the voice and the backgrounds are authentic approach.Great Reggae Vocals..The Ska Guitar in the back ground and random Dub sounds bring
it together. Good quality production. roots, rock , reggae You can't beat that
combo.....and these guys do it pretty well. If they were playing gigs in my hometown
I'd go check 'em out well regularly. Positive vibration. The vocalist is engaging. The
female backup vocalists sugar it up a bit, but I like it. Nice interplay between the lead
and backup singers. The band is tight. Guitar, drummer and bass all know their roles
and play them well. Nothing about the instrumentation jumps out at you and that's
good.....everything is as it should be.....and the groove is tight as a result. Irie mon! This is such an incredible song! Awesome lead vocal and harmonies. You're ready for
the 'big time' with this one! Rhymin' Reggae-style it is great. Nice intro rhymes. Rhymin'
Reggae-style it is great. It almost frees emotions inside me, of which I didn't know I
had. ;). Great vocals and backing vocals, with good rhymes. Nice chorus. Chill
Reggae-Guitar. oh.. yeah Funky bass and guitar. Soothing reggae vibes. The lead vocals
were on point, but the back ground vocals on the chorus seemed disconnected. The
background on the second verse sounded a lot better. I'm feelin the music, uplifting
lyrics and mood of this song. Great song It's a great song...always a good start!
Interplay between the quality vocals and the sweet lead guitar is superb. In a similar
vein to Eddy Grant, but with a more economical line up, all instruments are present in
just the right measure and position. Drums are impressive in their balance of function
and variety. a well balanced and rendered production of a quality song. This is a great song. This song is interesting, great music, and voice, however at some
points they seem seperate. I thinks it's the fact that the voice sounds natural, without
effects added to it, and the music at certain poits has a lot of effects. Sometime you
should experiment, just a little bit with those effects on the vocal track, just at those
points near where the instruments echo. With all that said, the seperation is just a
minor thing, overall I think this song is great.Reggae - Well Done I like this song. I've never been a big fan of Reggae but this is an
engaging tune. The vocals are excellent. Although, I feel the background vocals need a
more defined space in the soundscape. They seem a little "close" for my taste anyway. The performance is great, the lyrics well written and the production, overall, is very
good. Good effort - two thumbs up! REGGAE LIVES Some fine work on the guitar and
drums add to the attraction of tis track. Even though I did not grab all the lyrics (theme
or topic}, I went with the groove and truly enjoyed the laid-back feel of this song.
Bring the bass forward a bit and give it some more definition. Also, tighten up the
b/ground vocals and give them more presence. It's a happening song. Interesting Approach . The feeling to this track is much different than alot of other
reggae that I have heard. It sounds a little pop influenced with the harmonies with the
male and female vocals. Nice booming bass with slick drumming in the background...
Very interesting, but cohesive track. good reggae great beat, good vocal perfomance
between male and female singers, nice use of effects and the production is quite goodnifty sound ----love the mix.....when I say mix I am referring to not only the balance
between all instruments, but also the individual instruments and the skilled musicians
---the good mix merely allows me to hear each individual instrument clearly -no single
instrumet overpowering any other......I especially love the percussion and voice ----also
the background voices.....sexy and alluring...over all a very attention grabbing
sound..... A little More Than Standard Reggae Reggae usually all sounds the same to
me. This has some nice moments in the progressions that make this stand out from most
reggae. Its alot less repetative also than most reggae. This track grew on me pretty fast
TAXI REVIEWER:Attention getting intro. Excellent feel and strong playing by all. Good use of space by
the riddim section. The chorus felt a little less strong than the verses. beautifully put
together and the rhythm feel is dependably strong and in command, showing full grasp
of Reggae history and traditions. The vocals were fun and had lots of personality,
always remaining clearly in charge and relaxed. The rhythm section sparkled
throughout, as did the electric guitar work, which was right in the pocket. Based on
these two finely wrought songs, you are forwarded. Best of luck to you, Scott!!!====til later y'all!scott.
